Our Mission

Recify was created with a simple belief: creating professional-looking screen recordings shouldn't require expensive software, technical expertise, or leaving your browser. We're building the simplest way to record, edit, and share screen recordings — all from within Chrome. Whether you're creating product demos, tutorials, bug reports, or async team updates, Recify gives you the tools to make them look polished in seconds, not hours.

What We Build

Recify is a free Chrome extension that combines screen recording with a built-in video editor. Our key features include auto-zoom on clicks (so viewers always see what matters), custom backgrounds, facecam overlays, and trim/cut editing — all running locally in your browser. We process your recordings on your device, and only upload to our secure cloud when you explicitly choose to share. Your recordings, your control.

Built on Modern Technology

Recify is built on Chrome's Manifest V3 architecture — the latest and most secure extension platform. This means better performance, stronger privacy guarantees, and long-term compatibility with Chrome. We use hardware acceleration for recording, so you won't notice any slowdown while capturing your screen. Our editor runs entirely in-browser using modern web APIs, keeping your data local until you decide otherwise.
