By installing or using the Recify Chrome extension or visiting screenrecify.com, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
Description of Service
Recify is a Chrome extension that provides screen recording, video editing, and sharing capabilities. The core features are available for free. We may offer paid features ("Recify Pro") in the future. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Account and Registration
You can use Recify's recording features without creating an account. To edit, export, and share recordings, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials with others.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Recify only for lawful purposes. You must not: - Record content you do not have permission to record - Use Recify to violate any person's privacy rights - Share recordings containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content - Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the extension - Use automated systems to abuse the service - Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions
Your Content
You retain ownership of all recordings you create with Recify. By using our sharing features, you grant us a limited license to host and deliver your shared recordings to the recipients you specify. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and share any content captured with Recify.
Intellectual Property
Recify, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our service without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Recify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost recordings, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (if any).
Termination
You may stop using Recify at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your shared recordings may be deleted from our servers.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Recify after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
